Sustainable Returns for a better Environment
Economic benefits with attractive returns and ecological responsibility are not contradictions - quite the contrary! Our worldwide dependence on energy and the continued increase in our energy needs ensure the profitability of investments in renewable energy. This even goes beyond the benefits governmental funding support.
We expect wind electricity to reach grid parity within the next 15 to 20 years. This would mean that the price of wind electricity will be competitive with the wholesale price of conventional electricity. Some experts even believe this could happen in half that time.
This development is expected to occur much more rapidly with solar electricity. If this electricity is used by the owner of the solar power generator itself, then the benchmark for grid parity would be the price set for conventional electricity by their energy provider. Here, we assume grid parity will be achieved within five years.
This is also good for our environment!
